Charging and Usage
1. Avoid fully depleting before charging: Lithium batteries have no memory effect, no need to fully discharge before charging. Recommend starting charging at 20-30% remaining capacity to extend cycle life.
2. Use original or certified chargers: JYOVEX USB-C direct charge batteries have built-in charging management circuit, standard USB-C cable suffices. Avoid poor-quality charging cables or non-standard adapters, which may trigger protection circuits or damage batteries.
3. Avoid extreme temperature charging: Charging temperature range 0-45°C. Charging below 0°C may cause lithium dendrite growth, above 45°C may accelerate battery aging.
Storage and Maintenance
4. Maintain 50% charge for long-term storage: If battery is not used for a long time, recommend charging/discharging to about 50% before storage. Full-charge storage accelerates aging, empty-charge storage may cause over-discharge damage.
5. Storage environment: Dry, cool, ventilated, temperature 15-25°C, humidity 45-75%. Avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature environments.
6. Charge-discharge once every 6 months: Long-term stored batteries recommend one complete charge-discharge cycle every 6 months to maintain cell activity.
Safety Precautions
7. Avoid physical damage: Do not drop, crush, or puncture batteries. Physical damage may destroy internal structure, causing short circuit or thermal runaway.
8. Avoid storing with metal items: Battery positive and negative terminals contacting metal items may cause short circuit. Recommend storing separately or using insulated storage boxes.
9. Stop use immediately if abnormalities found: If battery shows swelling, heating, unusual odor or other abnormalities, stop use immediately and dispose safely.
10. Recycle according to regulations: Used lithium batteries should be handed to professional recycling organizations, do not dispose randomly or burn.
